We’re looking for a Engineering Manager to help us continue to build the future of payment technologies. We would like to help schools to allow their students to pay for their books and tuition with any cryptocurrency that they like, for travel agents to help their customers see the world without worrying about local currencies, for merchants to sell their product to a global market, and for stores to pass on savings that they get from using our technologies to their happy customers.

Our engineering team’s focus is to use the latest technological advancements to make payments easy, secure, fast from consumers to merchants. Our core technology is focused on blockchain and cryptocurrency but also with allowing payments via bank transfers.

You will be experienced managing engineering teams and will manage the work of one of our key engineering teams using Agile Scrum and Jira for project management. You will work on improving our product features and customer experience and engagement across multiple channels on web, mobile, and in store sales. You will be working with a cross function team of UX designers, engineers, business analysts, compliance and others to build innovative products to amaze and delight our customers.

The Engineering Manager is responsible for manage engineering teams and reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

  • Manage engineering teams that will scale as the company and business grows, identifying and filling any team gaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified leads by designing marketing campaigns to effectively promote RocketFuel brand. These campaigns could be in the form of Paid ads, Webinars, Direct outreach via emails/mail, Social media posts/DM’s, Site content, Blogs/Articles, and other relevant tasks for a B2B company
  • Analyze Marketing Data - Determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by analyzing page clicks, keyword hits, search engine traffic, and other data.
  • Advise Company - Keep Marketing and Sales teams up to date on current campaigns, informing them on which aspects of campaigns are the most effective and which are not, and tweak campaigns to get maximum attention and revenue.
  • Write Marketing Reports - Create detailed reports showing metrics, cost, and outlining the timetables and schedules for online marketing campaigns.
  • Manage Pay-per-Click - Look at the budget data for pay-per-click accounts daily to manage campaign costs and provide expense information to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 5-8+ years of work experience in Crypto or payment related field with proven success of improved KPI’s and metrics
  • Experience with email marketing campaigns, Landing pages and strategies required within eCommerce, Payments or Crypto verticals
  • Experience with PPC marketing campaigns with Blockchain/Crypto Keywords and strategies required
  • Experience working with marketing automation platform required; strong preference for experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo/Discover and similar tools
  • Strong demonstrated understanding of Digital Marketing as well as website and traffic conversion
  • Experience working independently in a young startup environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing innovative and forward-thinking marketing campaigns that cut through noise and talk to consumers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and G+ suite. Knowledge in following tools is preferred but not required: Google Analytics, AdWords, PPC tools, Hootsuite, TweetDeck, Hotjar, VWO, Unbounce and Video Editing tools
